At CiSGER (from “Centro de Investigación en Sustentabilidad y Gestión Estratégica de Recursos” in Spanish), different sciences converge through their disciplines to address the challenges in a context of Global Warming and Climate Change, the great challenge of the 21st century.
CiSGER researchers study the relationship between Engineering, Society and Sustainability by developing analytical frameworks to understand the causes and effects of current events and contribute to sustainable development through a better understanding and integration of local systems, characterized for its natural resources, climate, infrastructure engineering, social and political frameworks: to support decision-making at the public policy level, linking science, technology, society and education.
