This interesting COIL course conducted by UDD students in collaboration with American students from Wilkes University focused on generating the foundational documentation for an international entrepreneurial project created by them, which theoretically would be implemented in two countries other than Chile and the USA. In twenty interdisciplinary (and international) groups of six students each, the students sought ideas for entrepreneurial projects that would address the problems they identified. An initial meeting explained the COIL project, assigned working groups, and defined THREE deliverables to be worked on and delivered in collaboration with Wilkes University students. Each university and specialty contributed from its area of knowledge to solve the challenges generated in each task. They had the opportunity to work independently and experience the challenges and benefits of working in not only an interdisciplinary but also a multicultural and international team.
