This collaboration posed the challenge of complementing different disciplines and creating an activity that could accomplish learning outcomes from both courses. Considering the topics seen in both of them, the chosen topic was “Green companies”.
The scenario was that Mexican students managed a sausage company in their country, but they wanted to enter into the Chilean market. On their side, Chilean students were divided in two. Some of them were consultants, who would advise the Mexican company on how to enter the Chilean market considering legal, cultural and environmental restrictions. Others, were Government Agents, who would evaluate if the company actually complied with all the requirements.
One of the most significant activities was the virtual field trip. There, students could show the culture of processing, sale and consumption of these products in our country.
